Excellent service, meal, and ambiance for a birthday celebration! Caroline our server was so pleasant and interactive, especially with our elderly mother explaining the menu so patiently. Great atmosphere and food to celebrate a birthday - very casual upscale perfect for the twenty to ninety year olds. Never a disappointing evening at Ecco!

Dear Rich and Team, I can’t thank you enough for the incredible experience you gave us. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Before we even arrived, Rich reached out to learn more about the birthday we were celebrating. When we got to the table, we found personalized menus, a special note welcoming my mother from out of town, and even a framed picture Rich had created around the birthday boy’s hobbies. We were blown away. Casey was wonderful, and the teamwork throughout the evening was incredible. The food was outstanding, and because we’re basically family, the first few bites were spent passing plates around the table saying, “You have to taste this!” But there is something your team couldn’t have known. Two years ago, the daughter of one of my best friends, who was dining with us, was diagnosed with a fatal cancer. A few months later, his wife was involved in a serious car accident. Their lives haven’t been the same since. That is why this evening meant so much. For a few hours, I watched my friends let their guard down. I watched them laugh, smile, share food, and simply enjoy being together. It was the first time in two years that it felt like they could just breathe, enjoy the moment, and celebrate life. That is what hospitality can do. You may think you’re serving a meal, filling a glass, or celebrating a birthday, but sometimes you’re giving people a moment of joy during one of the hardest chapters of someone’s life. Please know that what you do matters. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail created more than a wonderful dinner. You gave us a memory we will treasure forever. Rich, Casey, the entire team, and of course the chef, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Cheers!

I had been wanting to try this hotel restaurant for quite a while. Invited friends to join, so the 6 of us had a private dining experience! The hotel bar had a few groups drinking and snacking, but we had the restaurant to ourselves on a Saturday night! We enjoyed 3 appetizers—octopus, flatbread and Brussels sprouts and a variety of entrees from simple burger to halibut. I had a salad with crab cakes. Tasty but most likely frozen and fried. We could enjoy conversation without bumping beats to compete with! Very friendly staff! Fun night out!

    Exceptional. It had been 2 years since we last dined at Marcel and while our previous visit was good, there are lots of great steak restaurants in Atlanta. Well, in the 2 years since, the experience has improved astronomically. Service: Excellent, personable, knowledgable. Food: Delicious. Delivered to the table at temperature. Terrific taste. Ambiance: Exceptional. Speaks to a special night out, without being fake or stuffy. The food is exceptional and demands a special night out attention to detail and respect by the guests. I am a bit of a steak experience snob, and Marcel has really rung the bell for me - easily capable of unseating some of Atlanta’s finest “old school” steakhouses. Highly recommend.
