Best Gastro Pubs in German Village

It was awesome! My friend Ben and I had an awesome time! The bison burger is 1 of the best burgers there!

The Pearl is my favorite restaurant, but I usually go to the Dublin location. This is my first visit to this location. They’re both wonderful. Food is always wonderful. We were celebrating our anniversary and kind of went all-out. The shellfish tower is amazing. The jalepeno cornbread is delicious. Entrees were great (scallops special, pub burger). Drinks are phenomenal; “The Cure” is indeed the cure. Our server Shawn was great. He was warm, welcoming, calm, and professional. Music is always great. Nice atmosphere, it’s warm and cozy. Shawn gave us complimentary desserts to go for our anniversary which I thought was so nice. We spent a decent amount of money here and it’s absolutely worth it, in my opinion (but it also doesn’t have to be a super expensive place either, we just ordered a lot of food/drinks this time. Happy hour specials are especially phenomenal). Love this place, both locations!

The Pearl is a Gem I’ve had this place in my sights for years. We finally made it there and so happy we did. We arrived early and were seated immediately at our requested River View table. The location in Dublin is amazing looking out over the S bridge. Our server was Jenny and she did a great job. She explained the menu, worked around our allergy, kept our drinks filled and told us a little about the surrounding area. Enough about all of that - the food was fantastic. We had the Fish Roll (like a lobster roll) @ $20, Peel & Eat Shrimp (more like shrimp cocktail) @ 23 and N’awlins Style Baked Oysters (amazing!) @ $9. We enjoyed this meal experience very much.

Great birthday dinner. Great service. We will return again

All our meals salads, and appetizers were delicious and plentiful. All took home leftovers. We sat and visited for a few hours after eating and never felt rushed. Our server, Avery, was attentive without hovering and made suggestions. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and received complimentary delicious slices of cheesecake (chocolate and raspberry) which added to the celebration!
