Really lovely food especially the roast potatoes! I had the veggie wellington and husband had pork - both perfect. Only niggle was we felt a bit rushed at the end as they needed our table back but we did have notice of this - just shows how popular it is.

Overall the service and food is very good and the menu should please most. The Trio of Sausages to my taste is expectional The Fish & Chips are tasty but found the curry sauce far to rich(masala taste) but again this is personal preference. Good selection of starters & desserts. Parking if free and generous outside seating area. It's a lovely and welcoming venue and a good place to eat for sure

We visited Saturday night and had the tasting menu for two. The food was incredible and was totally worth the money. The staff were great and the restaurant was lovely. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Came after seeing their Sunday roast on socials and can say we were not disappointed. We had some items off their à la carte menu too and would definitely come back again for dinner. Their cocktails were good quality, definitely somewhere to come the girls. Service was good and everyone was so friendly, atmosphere was relaxed so I didn’t feel rushed to order and leave. Highly recommend!

Such a good time here, would recommend! Perfect for a celebration or group get together as it’s lively and a great vibe to continue on the evening. Food was lovely - it’s a mix between great quality food /small plates, and a pub/cocktail bar with fun music. Staff were super helpful and friendly.

My wife and I turned up at The Talbot on a very hot day about quarter of an hour before it was scheduled to open, at noon. A staff member kindly showed us to an outside table in a shaded position and suggested we sat there until opening time. A little later he also very kindly brought us a glass of tap water each to drink while we waited. We had booked to eat lunch at noon and very much enjoyed the two plates of Greek salad we had ordered. The salads were excellent, and ample. We ate them with sourdough bread, which was also excellent. As The Talbot filled up we enjoyed seeing the other guests receiving friendly welcomes similar to the greeting we had been given.
