Lovely Sunday lunch with freinds...food very tasty, a mix of roasts and salads for our party. Sticky toffee desert very light and airy, excellent. Busy Sunday afternoon so not easy for staffing but it was not at its sharpest - a little more attention would have been nice. But will be back.

I would like to leave some truly outstanding feedback for MacPie and, in particular, for our waiter, Ned. From the moment we arrived, we had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, and everything was welcoming, comfortable, and well organised. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with great care. It was a pleasure to dine there, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. However, what really made our visit special was the exceptional service from Ned. Ned was absolutely wonderful — friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. He made us feel welcome from the very beginning and took the time to make sure that everything was perfect. Ned has a fantastic personality and an excellent approach to customer service. He was attentive without being intrusive, helpful without being overbearing, and always had a lovely smile and a positive attitude. He made us feel valued as customers, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about us having a great experience. Good service can make a restaurant visit enjoyable, but exceptional service can make it memorable — and Ned definitely made our visit memorable. Her professionalism, kindness, enthusiasm, and attention to detail deserve to be recognised. I would especially like the management at MacPie to know what an asset Ned is to the restaurant. Staff members like her are extremely valuable because they create the kind of experience that makes customers want to return and recommend the restaurant to others. Overall, we had an outstanding experience at MacPie. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent, but Ned deserves a special mention for making our visit feel genuinely special. Thank you, Ned, for your wonderful service and for making our experience so enjoyable. You are a credit to MacPie, and I sincerely hope your hard
