Best Gastro Pubs in Fressingfield

Excellent service and food as usual Can thoroughly recommend this venue

With new owners, The garden house is trying to become something that we know is challenging in this day and age - a decent restaurant and destination people will make the effort to go to! If the food continues to be as good as it was, then they’ll definitely do it! Alongside the chef’s skills, there was one person who epitomised what good service actually is - the manager Rose. She made our experience what is was. Greeting us with genuine warmth and personality, her level of hospitality and service was incredible - again often lacking these days!

Lovely home cooked and home reared food. Excellent service. Will definitely go again.

Staff were very pleasant. New menu from previous visit with excellent choice of starters. A good selection of main dishes. The food was very nice including a carrot cake cheesecake! Drinks are reasonably priced compared to other venues. Only criticism, I felt the staff could have kept a closer eye on the tables in case further drinks ect required. We look forward to another visit.

Warm welcome, good service and comprehensive menu at competitive prices. An ideal venue for whatever the occasion. Thoroughly recommended.
