Went for sunday roast we got sharing platter it was truly amazing havent seen anything like it so much food and did beat us, im not a veg person nut decided to try it out and honestly the veg was perfect. Beef was perfect not chewy like some places, honestly do recommend and would take my family there again value for money

I have eaten Sunday roast here in the past and it has been good. Now since they have got a new chef in the kitchen it has gone from good to fabulous. Very generous portion sizes of excellent food. If you like nice veg and varied selection you will not be disappointed. Having live music, an excellent glass of French rose wine all added up to a happy customer. Well done all 😊

Really surprised! When I saw that the Village bar and grill was highly rated, I admit I was skeptical. Previous experiences at other hotels were average but in Basingstoke it was great. Bar is in ‘sports bar’ mode but that fits in great if you want a burger and watch the football. It was lively without being noisy, good range of seating options, good price on drinks (check the Village’ app for offers). We had the burgers which were above average but the staff were great, attentive without being overbearing and good service at the bar for more drinks etc. Make sure you check out offers such as £50 of credit for £40 before you go.
