Best Halal Restaurants in Buckden

The food here is sublime! We love the tapas save never yet tried the mains. The Choori Chaat is beyond gorgeous, I could just eat that. But we had the Tandoori tapas which for 2 is huge - 2 large pieces Tandoori Chicken, 2 large pieces Tikka chicken, 2 huge keema lamb kofta, we also had the paneer shashlik tapas and honestly the whole meal was superb, just too much and we couldn't finish it. The staff are so lovely too, we asked for a quiet table and we got one, so they take note of what you put on your reservation. We had a 15% discount voucher which made it even better value, but it's not that expensive anyway. If we go Indian, we always go there, it's the best food in St. Albans. Note: you can tell it's good cos every time we go there's always an Indian group or 2 - nuff said! Just excellent

Very good meal at Nazar for a birthday celebration. Mixed cold meze to start, with haloumi burger, kebab and casserole. Good sized portions especially for the starter. Attentive service from Jose.
