Best Indian Restaurants in St John's Wood

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Jamavar from start to finish. The ambience was beautiful, and the entire team made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. A special mention to Deepak for his amazing hospitality, and to Pheba and Ramesh for their excellent service. We tried the Early Diner four-course menu, and it was a fantastic experience full of flavours. Everything — the food, ambience, hospitality and service — came together perfectly.

We had a delightful experience again at Chourangi celebrating the very special occasion of my wife's birthday. The food was great especially the baked crab, prawn cutlet, railway mutton curry, kasha mangsho and the cocktails were equally good. The meal ended with a kind gesture of baked rasogolla as birthday treat from the restaurant. As also the service was excellent. Would continue to visit this place as it always remind me of my home city Kolkata with its food.

We went for lunch during the rain affected test match and had pre-booked. It was very very busy in the pubs as football was on too. It was manic, and the staff, whilst very good, were extremely stretched and a few pairs of extra hands were needed for sure. Definitely go again though!

The Josh Rogan lamb is the best I’ve ever had. All of it was delicious.
