Great restaurant. An instant favorite. Lovely service and staff. Food was excellent. The Kashmiri sauce was fantastic. Maybe reconsider their use of handheld radios for the staff to communicate, or add earpieces, because the harsh squawks are a bit jarring in such a lovely environment, but other than that, 5-stars!

My husband and I had dinner at Rajaji on a Sunday around 5:00pm and it was excellent! We often seek out Indian restaurants when we are traveling as it is one of our favorite types of cuisine and Rajaji did not disappoint. He always orders chicken biryani and I always get some type of dal (dal makhani this time) and Rajaji’s versions were top tier. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in D.C. looking for a delicious meal and a relaxed environment.

The GOAT room was exceptional. The food was delicious with just the right amount of spice.the ambiance and the server were the magic touch, we were there when they were not busy and it still felt warm and inviting. When we were leaving we saw the rush for dinner and glad we avoided it. The naan was also truly baked to perfection. A nice and satisfying crunch with every bite and the perfect flavor tagged along with it.
