Best International Restaurants in Corwen

Came here with friends before an event at the cathedral. We were really happy we chose this restaurant, fabulous plant-based food across the entire menu. The food was well cooked and delicious, we all ate way too much! Would recommend Shrub for any vegans visiting Chester!

Our group meet at the Gwydyr each year and on the first night this year some of us booked a table. Worked very well and was calmly enlarged when other wished to join. Great service and great food.

I love eating here. We went on a Friday lunch time. It was very relaxed. The staff there are very friendly and so helpful. My fish and chips were fantastic and the curry sauce that I ordered as an extra was delicious. The apple and plumb custard I had for pudding was so yummy and there was no problem when we asked if we could swap ice cream for custard. A lovely way to spend a Friday lunchtime

We booked at 3pm after visiting Chester Zoo didn’t expect anything than average pub food, But WOW how wrong were we. The food was outstanding the drink option was so vast and the service was fantastic everyone was so friendly. We had crispy calamari for stater, Peri chicken thighs ciabatta and chicken schnitzel for main. My husband had Beaverton Gamma ray and I had Chase pink grapefruit gin and tonic. Fantastic drinks. The place was so beautiful in the edge of the Zoo. It was a shame that it only opens same time as the zoo so only until 4.30pm. Overall 10 out of 10 from us.
