Best Italian Restaurants in Cardiff By The Sea

We had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday at North! The truffle and garlic bread, meatballs and scallop risotto were off the charts! While the food was delicious, the service was honestly cherry on the top. We were blown away by the server and the manager’s level of care and attentiveness. I have not seen that level of customer service in such a long time. A 5 star experience. Thank You!

We celebrated my birthday here on a Tuesday night. We brought our own wine and they didn't charge us a corkage fee, which may be a Tuesday-only perk. They also provided a yummy Tiramisu dessert on the house, which was really nice. My wife had the Lasagna, and it was to die for. I had one of their specials, which was Idaho Rainbow Trout. It was excellent, as was the sausage/spinach soup that I started with. It being Tuesday night, the restaurant wasn't crowded, so it was delightfully quiet so that we could enjoy our conversation. The waitress was attentive without hovering. They do have a nice, large outdoor dining patio, which we have used in the past and is very dog friendly, but it was chilly this night in December, so we chose to eat inside. We have eaten here maybe 4 times now, and it has never disappointed.

Super nice owner from Italy!!! The artichokes on the appetizers are to do die for!! Great homemade pasta, fantastic wines and good heaters to still be able to enjoy the outside!

Three of us spent Thanksgiving at Vigiluccis in Leucadia. It’s the second year we’ve done this and enjoyed it as much this time as always! We always opt for the Italian menu rather than the turkey dinner. The server, Oscar, was terrific and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, hot and served beautifully. We were never rushed, and we will always come back.
