- DDianaGoldCincinnati / Dayton •49 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe popped in after a CSO concert hoping to sit at the bar but there was a 30 min wait. While waiting, I checked open table and to my surprise the was an open table available, so I quickly grabbed the reservation. As usual the service and food were amazing. I can't say enough good things about P&D. It's becoming our go-to restaurant.More infoPepp & Dolores$$$$• Italian• Over the Rhine•4.9

- LLisaGoldCincinnati / Dayton •16 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoNicola's was the winner for letter N. Had a 400pm reservation. Had a bit of a hard time finding parking. If you can't find street parking there is a garage 1.5 blocks past the restaurant. When we arrived, we checked in and we were seated right away. Note: have to go up two steps to enter the dining room. We were tended to by multiple staff members with our waitress being Haley. Within the first few minutes the General Manager stopped by and introduced herself. We order an OF and it was very good. Also ordered the Bread Service, thought it was a little pricey but did it anyway and words can't explain the amount of flavors and textures that were presented in one basket. Definitely worth every penny. Had a couple of oysters and they were very good. Next came the mains. Had the Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese all agree 5*. Next was the Malfatti "A True Love for Rome" and still can't get over those dumplings, gets another 5*. After that was the Doppio Ravioli and another exquisite 5* dish. Last was the Maine Lobster Risotto, this dish also landed a 5* rating. The overall favorite by all was the Malfatti but the others were all close behind. Last, we each had one bite left in us to share a Chocolate Fondant and we are so glad we had room. This was one of the most decandant desserts we've ever had and worth saving the room. Want to note that the wonderful Chef/Owner Cristian Pietoso made an appearance in the dining room. He stopped by our table and personally thanked us. This just topped our evening off that he took the time to come and introduced himself to the patrons. That is an extremely classy thing to do and we will absolutely be visiting again not only for the food but how well the establishment is managed and the care shown by all of their team. Note: some of the photos are half portions as we split dishes so all can share.More infoNicola's Ristorante$$$$• Italian• Over the Rhine•4.9

I made reservations and let them know about the birthday and they set a table that was litterally the best seat in the house. It overlooked the entire restaurant. It made us feel very special and like we were VIP's. THANK YOU to the staff! The food was incredibly delicious!!! A very very amazing experience! Thank you for making my wife's birthday special !!!
