Best Italian Restaurants in Mission Bay

We came to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a wonderful experience from start to end. Food was fantastic, especially the pasta. At least go for the pasta! I was sad when I finished my leftover plate of rigatoni alla norcina- fresh quality pasta bites and the sauce was chef's kiss. Our staff for the evening was warm and accommodating. I would highly recommend you eat here! It is on the pricier side and parking can be challenging. Otherwise, I cannot stop raving about the food.

As is typical for North Italia - we had excellent service - and the food was great. …was very busy - so Open Table Reservation had us seated within 5 minutes. My only recommendation is that the Bolegnese for my pasta should be thicker all around - honoring the true nature of Bolegnese and what differentiates from marinara type sauces

Delicious authentic Roman/Italian cuisine. I definitely will be going back.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Cesarina. We were seated promptly (arriving right on our reservation time). The service was efficient and our server was very familiar with the menu, and frank and open with his descriptions/comments about various menu items. The food was served surprisingly promptly, and everything our party of 3 had was delicious. The pasta was exceptional. Everyone we interacted with acknowledged my wife's birthday (which was the occasion we were celebrating). The atmosphere is comfortable and not too noisy (of overly loud). We had a wonderful evening and everyone at Cesarina should be commended for the fine job/product they provide.

It was great all the way around just one thing it’s supposed to be a sports bar. We’re there to watch sports and have good food but then they put a two hour limit on the tables which is unusual. Large groups of people are there to watch a specific game, they made the reservations to watch the game at a place where there’s good food and atmosphere. You simply cannot kick them out after two hours ?
