Best Italian Restaurants in University Hills

This was our third time dining and we had a great experience. Very attentive servers and they were great in answering all our questions The focaccia is a must. Frito misto was excellent with very fresh seafood. Lamb chops were wonderful ( the arugula was a little salty for some of us but ok) Mafaldine was excellent. The vanilla gelato with a light pour of aged vinegar was different and fantastic. All in all -a great evening.

The 4 course meal with the wine tasting was delicious, luxurious and memorable.

Haven’t been in awhile and gotta say - glad to go back. The past couple of times (several years ago) were a disappointment but this time everything was spot on. Happy happy. Love a nice local dinning option.

Always a treat! This was a special lunch with a long-time friend. We both had challenges this past year, and we were able to cry and share. Our waiter was so respectful and great. He was there when we needed him but gave us the space we needed. I had the spicy rigatoni, and my friend had a caprese sandwich, both of which were spectacular. We had the Dark chocolate bundino with cherries! It was so very good and surprising.

This place is outstanding. Crowded but not overwhelming. Menu is limited, in a good way. The restaurant presents a number of simple and complex options, and everything tastes as fresh as can possibly be. We started with dressed oysters, then a kale salad - both dishes perfectly prepared. Then lobster pasta, and salmon, again extremely fresh. The complimentary table rolls are also nostalgically warm, buttery and seasoned with salt and garlic. I'd only been here for lunch, but definitely coming back for dinner soon!
