Wonderful food and service, such a lovely and calm place to eat in Downtown LA. It's very peaceful eating outside. Inside is quite loud, but didn't impact us since we got a table outside. Great drinks, interesting menu, and very nice people working there!

Food was absolutely delicious, and the fish was incredibly fresh! 🐟 We had the sashimi, seaweed salad, chicken slaw, and a fish plate with broccolini and a side of mushrooms. Every dish was packed with amazing flavor, but the sauces were definitely the highlight! 🤤 Located right next door to the NOVO Theater, which is super convenient when attending a show. Such a great spot for dinner before a night out! Totally recommend Katsuya, we will definitely be returning! ❤️🍽️

    Top to bottom, the service, food, and hospitality are top tier. Lauren (maybe Laura? Apologies) was our server and gave the best recommendations. Bell, Miguel, and the rest of the crew are consummate hospitality professionals and make my family feel like we’re the only ones in the room even though they’re tending an entire busy restaurant. Wish Budonoki was closer to home!
