This was our first time to Nakama, and we had a great meal! The service was attentive but not intrusive, the food was delicious, and the pace of the meal was perfect. We look forward to visiting again— thanks for a great dinner!

Dinner at Niku Steakhouse was such a great experience. The host was wonderful—prompt, welcoming, and responsive. Service started a little slowly before I was initially attended to, but once my server took over, everything flowed beautifully. They were warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain each course in depth. The food was excellent, and the pacing was appropriate—I just happen to eat quickly, so I personally prefer my courses to arrive a little faster! The cocktail was gorgeous, incredibly smooth, and dangerously easy to drink. My surprise favorite was the amuse-bouche, followed closely by the pasta with pickled mushrooms. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the mushrooms, but the dish was absolutely amazing. Less favorite was the halibut crudo, and of course, the Wagyu was superb. I’m already planning a return visit—especially because I need to save room for dessert next time!

Yakiniku Shodai is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. We have been there 4 or 5 times, and it always delivers. Their wagyu is among there is (and we have tried many). Their service is also among the best. I would recommend getting the full course "Shodai Set" at least once, even if it is more expensive. It is worth it.
