Best Japanese Speciality Restaurants in Delaplane

A great combination of ‘traditional Japanese’ kaiseki with a modern interpretation that is tastefully done. Ingredients are locally sourced for the most part. While the seafood is sourced from the main fish market in Tokyo (Japan). Spices and condiments are from all over the World. I’d consider every meal here a ‘gastronomical experience’.

This is one the BEST Japanese food places in DC. I have been to multiple places including the high end ones where they don’t let you even have a soda with your meal to the hole in the wall sushi spot. Their hamachi roll was SOOOO good that I ordered two. Even my friend who hates eating raw food was thoroughly impressed. Other items I really loved: the beef gyozas, the spicy tuna roll, and edamame. I wasn’t a huge fan of the miso cod because it was a little too sweet for me. Other than that, everything was amazing. I can’t wait to return.
