The food was absolutely amazing, and our server was wonderful! My friend and I had the $120 tasting menu, and it was worth every bite. Every dish was delicious and beautifully done, and the drinks were fantastic too. Such a great experience from start to finish. We’ll be back!

Had a great experience at Mona Lau! I sat at the bar and the bartender was personable, attentive, and made amazing drinks. He even customized my experience by serving my drink in a beautiful, unique glass, which was such a nice touch. The ambiance was stunning—a cave-like design, and thoughtful details throughout. I didn’t try the food, but I’d definitely come back for the drinks, service, and atmosphere!

A truly unique dining experience that I highly recommend! The food is prepared fresh right in front of you and served one small portion at a time, but at a steady and efficient pace. The flavors were unlike anything I have experienced at other Japanese restaurants. Both the food and the service were a perfect 10/10. While it is on the expensive side, the overall experience is absolutely worth it.

Very nice restaurant with shows going on throughout the evening. Food was good and service was excellent. Makes for a good entertaining evening. Just don't book too early as the shows start around 8.30pm.

My 3rd time at this place. One of the better ramen place in Montreal downtown. First time I had somen outside Japan. Super good, but gotta eat fast before the noodles get stuck together in a clump. Peach wasa is a killer! Clean bathroom was a big +. Ganbare team-san!
