Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Glyndon

Beautiful restaurant, we sat in the main dining room but outside space looked lovely. Food very good, burrata starter was excellent. Steak frites very good. Homemade pastas and crab cakes all delicious. On the expensive side at $40+ for most mains.

My girlfriend and I went to Pappas and overall had a really good experience. The atmosphere was nice, and our server Brandon, was good and reasonably attentive without constantly checking in on us. We started with the seafood sampler, and that was probably one of the highlights. The crab cake balls were really good, and so was the calamari along with the scallops. I thought the calamari needed a little salt, but the sauce that came with it was really good. My girlfriend got the stuffed Atlantic salmon. She was pretty full by the time our food came out so she didn't eat a ton of it, but the imperial crab was really good. I got the Double the Pleasure crab cakes with the jackknife potatoes and green beans. The potatoes were tasty, but those crab cakes were outstanding. I grew up in Baltimore and have eaten plenty of crab cakes over the years, and these were easily some of the best I've had. I'd come back just for those. The green beans on the other hand...not so much. They were extremely bland and underseasoned. Even adding some salt didn't really save them. It honestly tasted like someone put some raw green beans in a pan with a little oil and called it a day. Definitely wouldn't get those again. My only other knock was how long the food took. The appetizer took around 20 minutes, and our entrees were probably another 30–40 minutes. They were extremely busy, though, so I'm sure that played a part. Overall, we both enjoyed ourselves and I'd definitely come back. Great atmosphere, good service and those crab cakes were absolutely worth it. I'll just be staying away from the green beans next time

We had a wonderful experience last night at Ammoora. Service was excellent, food was amazing and we will definitely be back!!

The food is delicious and the whites and waitresses are so pleasant. We enjoy the atmosphere and the very good Greek food.
