- TTraceyGoldWashington, D.C. Area •102 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely brunch here at Gerrard Street Kitchen. The ambience is beautiful. I commented to my friend that I liked the atmosphere. We sat indoors although umbrella -covered outdoor tables were available. Our server was friendly and attentive. My friend and I decided to split the tart and kale caesar and they kitchen was thoughtful to split it for us so we didn't have to. Both were delicious and well-presented. We were celebrating my friend's birthday which I had noted when I made the reservation. Gerrard Street Kitchen was kind enough to bring out a complimentary creme brûlée garnished with fruit and a chocolate happy birthday sign. I really appreciate restaurants that acknowledge a birthday with a nice gesture. Not all places will do it and I take note of the ones that do. Gerrard Street Kitchen hadn't been on my radar but I found it on open table since it's near where my friend attends church. It's a little outside of my normal restaurants locations but I really enjoyed the restaurant and look forward to returning. I also found street parking very easily for Sunday brunch.More infoGerrard Street Kitchen$$$$• Global, International• Dupont Circle•4.4
- SSelmaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined on 30 May 2026First of all, best dinner experience so far in DC and Chef Lledo being the second person we saw after walking into the establishment spoke to his touch in everything. Service was the name of the game, the lead Ann made the whole dining experience seamless, a story, gave us insight into the chefs intention for us with each bite. Sommolier Aaron was the tone setter for each bite with the perfect pairing. I would advocate for doing the wine pairing. We did one with and one without and as the without, I ordered à la carte glasses which were fabulous- but the pairings were perfectly matched to draw more out from each dish and flavor. Other service staff like Julia and Pavel took care to keep us on our valencian Journey, and the view into the kitchen from every table was a pleasant touch. Will be going backMore infoXiquet by Danny Lledó$$$$• Spanish• Georgetown•4.6
