A gem in the countryside! I was looking for somewhere new to take my wife for a birthday lunch. This venue came up in my search and it looked fab… and it turned out to be exactly that. Great food… some of the usual suspects but lots of new ideas too, including sesame boa buns, cauliflower steak and chicken schnitzel. All delicious and different. Great service… the staff were attentive, smiley and knowledgeable. Great venue… nicely kitted out with interesting planting in the beer garden, a kids play area and views to sheep filled fields.

Excellent as always. Exceedingly good food, service and presentation. It’s always a great experience from welcome. Cannot recommend enough. My partner had the cod which was exceptional whilst I sank into a warming and hearty shepherds pie any bistro chain would be highly jealous of as it knocked them for six! We left happy and extremely full with a promise to return again.
