If you love guacamole you should definitely try theirs. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. I had the surf and turf- which was delicious! My husband tried the loco moco and he devoured it. My mom had the penne- she loved it.

Kalapawai is always a favorite for our family! We’ve been here many times and the food is consistently fresh, delicious, and the portions are great. They always have incredible specials, too, which makes it fun to try something different every time we go. Last night my husband and I both had the New York strip, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly right. One of our kids had the ahi special, which was amazing, and my son always gets the De’Geevum burger, his favorite! The staff is also one of the reasons we keep coming back. The servers are genuinely some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet, and they are always incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating with food allergies and sensitivities. My husband and I are both very sensitive to gluten, and we always feel comfortable eating here. Such a great local spot with consistently amazing food and wonderful people. Definitely one of our family favorites!

Manager Kaylee is the best. She always take care of any reservation I have. She is very attentive and very helpful and I commned her and she is a keeper. I love her detailed service when we are in her restaurant. Kalapawai Cafe in Kapolei over delivers in food and service every time.

Phenomenal service and exceptional food! It was just too noisy for us with the live music competing with large table guests yelling at the sports casts! However, we love to eat at Moani Island Bistro because the food is so ono and the people are so friendly!! Thank you!
