An incredible dining experience, and David deserves a 10/10!
We were a party of five visiting Chicago and made a last-minute reservation for Saturday night. We were so lucky to stumble upon ROKA AKOR! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.
We were seated in the back room, which had an incredible, intimate atmosphere that made the evening feel special. The cocktails were fantastic, too. I ordered the Blood Orange Margarita, and it was to die for!
The absolute highlight, though, was our server, David. He was top-notch from start to finish: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely excellent at what he does. We decided to put our meal in his hands and let him take control, and WOW, did he deliver! He put together an incredible three-course small-plate experience for our group, starting with a round of starters, followed by fish and seafood, and finishing with several steaks. Everything came together beautifully, and letting him guide the experience made the dinner that much more enjoyable.
I genuinely cannot rave about this place enough. Between the amazing food, outstanding cocktails, intimate atmosphere, and exceptional service, ROKA AKOR made our Saturday night in Chicago memorable.
