This is the best pub in Granchester! Very friendly, relaxed, helpful service and warm, welcoming hospitality. We enjoyed the steak and chips and the chicken skewers, padron peppers and haloumi from the grill. Huge garden next to the grill with lots of tables and it wasn’t too busy when we went on a Saturday in October. Excellent lunch out!

Delightful mid-week dinner. Great service, friendly, warm and welcoming. Delicious food and lovely flavours - thought the autumn menu was good - may be another fish main for us fish lovers rather than just the Stone Bass? Having said that my fillet steak was cooked to perfection and my carrot side was heavenly. Wide wine selection but not too extensive and something for everyone. Very lucky that this pub/restaurant is just down the road. Thanks again Fox and Hound team!

Traditional village pub with separate dining area. Staff very friendly and food was delicious with lots of choice and reasonably priced. We were staying in the village for the weekend and ate there both nights.
