My family went to the Thornhill Arms for Sunday lunch. We all agreed it was the best meal we had eaten out in a long time. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The dining times were staggered so the dining room wasnt heaving and noisy. The food was absolutely delicious, meat was cooked to perfection and the veg was plentiful and very fresh. Our favourite was the cauliflower cheese just gorgeous. We honestly cant wait to go again.

This is the best pub in Granchester! Very friendly, relaxed, helpful service and warm, welcoming hospitality. We enjoyed the steak and chips and the chicken skewers, padron peppers and haloumi from the grill. Huge garden next to the grill with lots of tables and it wasn’t too busy when we went on a Saturday in October. Excellent lunch out!

On a very busy Sunday the food once again is faultless. Hot and plentiful. The staff here always so polite chatty and efficient. There was a large party celebrating a babies first birthday, but everyone was looked after as the most special table of the day. This pub really has become the beating heart of the community. They offer so much more than “ pub “ A waking group, music nights, quiz nights, support groups… and so much more… every customer is treated with the same care and attention.. bravo great western ! You’d are all brilliant
