Excellent meal, service and atmosphere. The steak and ale pie with root vegetables and mash was superb. As was the sticky toffee pudding with lots of sauce. Staff very efficient and pleasant. Blue Boar is one of my “must go” places in Ludlow.

The lamb Inn has had a new publican for the last few months now. The difference is outstanding. The service is now top rate , the food is excellent and good value for money. The quality of the beer on tap is of the best - fully recommend trying - but book

We hadn't visited since the new owners but thought we would give it a try, and we were so glad we did!!! The menu covered everything! The service was faultless and the food piping hot ! Great drinks menu, with cocktails and mocktails. Friendly and very helpful staff nothing was too much to ask. The ambience was lovely! Have told my family and will definitely be visiting again!

The roast was 10/10 perfectly cooked meat roast potatoes and vegetables we both had the roast chicken and additional gammon with cauliflower cheese on the side - everything was delicious wish we had room for dessert! Friendly staff and welcoming as always would highly recommend !
