Dear Rich and Team,
I can’t thank you enough for the incredible experience you gave us. From start to finish, everything was perfect.
Before we even arrived, Rich reached out to learn more about the birthday we were celebrating. When we got to the table, we found personalized menus, a special note welcoming my mother from out of town, and even a framed picture Rich had created around the birthday boy’s hobbies. We were blown away.
Casey was wonderful, and the teamwork throughout the evening was incredible. The food was outstanding, and because we’re basically family, the first few bites were spent passing plates around the table saying, “You have to taste this!”
But there is something your team couldn’t have known.
Two years ago, the daughter of one of my best friends, who was dining with us, was diagnosed with a fatal cancer. A few months later, his wife was involved in a serious car accident. Their lives haven’t been the same since.
That is why this evening meant so much.
For a few hours, I watched my friends let their guard down. I watched them laugh, smile, share food, and simply enjoy being together. It was the first time in two years that it felt like they could just breathe, enjoy the moment, and celebrate life.
That is what hospitality can do. You may think you’re serving a meal, filling a glass, or celebrating a birthday, but sometimes you’re giving people a moment of joy during one of the hardest chapters of someone’s life.
Please know that what you do matters. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail created more than a wonderful dinner. You gave us a memory we will treasure forever.
Rich, Casey, the entire team, and of course the chef, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
