Wonderful dinner on a quiet Sunday. Insalata Mista and Prosciutto were elegantly unique. Homemade pastas were marvelous. Unexpected homemade Lemoncello, complementary for our anniversary, was amazing with our server, Victor's attentive service. Fine wine list with reasonable prices.

Alta Strada is my favorite restaurant in the Boston area and for good reason. The food and the service is always outstanding. On this particular evening, my niece and I went for dinner on a rainy Friday night. We were warmly greeted by Guy Neil, who is the general manager. We were seated and treated to a fabulous meal. I always order the Alta Strada special cocktail, which is particularly outstanding when Ana at the bar makes it. We tried the cauliflower appetizer and the rigatoni alla vodka. For the main course, we had the branzino and the rib eye steak. All of the food was expertly and perfectly prepared. And for dessert, the entire restaurant staff came out singing happy birthday with multiple outstanding items including tiramisu, strawberry sorbet, and bombaloni doughnuts. I had not told them that is was my birthday - they just knew!
