Best Sri Lankan Restaurants in Cubitt Town

I visited Isso through the 50% offer with my London on the Inside Insiders membership. I’m not very familiar with Sri Lankan food, so I was excited to try it, although having a filling that morning made me a little nervous about lunch! The mutton roll was delicious, especially with the ketchup served alongside it. Isso should bottle that ketchup — I’d buy it! I also tried the colossal prawn, which was almost the size of a lobster. It made lunch feel wonderfully indulgent. The team looked after me so well and gave me a lovely table overlooking the water in Canary Wharf. I had a great time and would love to come back with my wife.

The food at Kolamba East was fantastic! From appetizers to mains, we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered (the king prawn biryani and spiced peanuts are not to be missed!). The service was also lovely as our party kept growing last minute and the staff happily accommodated us. Will be back!

Booked and when arrived seated immediately. Staff were attentive and polite. Mocktails were really good! Food was great but due to time constraints weren’t able to enjoy the entire service fully and so would return again. Definitely recommend and great view outside from seating areas of restaurant.
