Booked Sunday roast - and it was exactly as I’d hoped. Hit the mark 🎯

Welcome at the door was both friendly and also professional. We were seated in no time after booking in advance. Asked if we had dined there before and we said we had. The waiters were fabulous, introducing themselves (our waiter was Terry) and were very attentive and generous both in in our well being and also with chatting about our night out to come. The steaks are always superlative just like the times we have dined before, cooked to perfection with all the tasty sides as well. the wine was first class (Rioja) and the only complaint I had was, I wished we had allowed more time before the concert we were going to for the meal. As we ran out of time before the concert, Terry boxed up the remaining onion rings for us to take to the outdoor concert to finish there. Summary: Lovely surroundings, wonderful attentive staff, sophisticated fellow diners, great value and amazing food and drink. The Butchershop will not disappoint you if you dine there. first class!

Excellent from start to finish,lovely welcome,great value market menu,lovely presentation of food,the cranachan was scrumptious,good service,always checking to see everything was okay for us.This restaurant just had a lovely ambience and very spacious,we will most certainly be making a return visit 10/10

As always food and restaurant ambience was amazing. We were celebrating a 50th Birthday and got engaged and was given complimentary cava which was a lovely touch. We love coming here and will be back soon. Staff were excellent as always.

My steak was just a bad cut. On complaining, they brought me a new steak which was excellent along with some hot extras. The service was excellent as well.
