Love the atmosphere, terrific drinks, great steaks and sides. A bit disappointed with the peach salad. Peaches were way too ripe and there was a lot of arugula.

Fantastic birthday dinner with my wife. Service was on point, wine decanted beautifully, cocktails immaculate. My dry aged steak was delicious, and my wife’s rack of lamb was incredible. Amazing baked Alaska for dessert, very memorable evening.

I was worried that I'd be disappointed and that Boa couldn't live up to the hype. It is as good as the hype. Maybe better. First, working backwards, BF left his expensive shades there. The hostess called me on our way home to let us know, so we immediately turned around to retrieve them. I used Open Table and that's how they communicated prior to arrival. The use of technology was great. Valet texted me a link to pay and tip, so my car was ready when we walked out. The bill was paid from a QR code, so no going back and forth with my credit card. Although there is a strict dress code, only a few men were more casual and definitely looked out of place with a trucker hat or t-shirt. Women dressed up. Crowd was of all ages, but everyone made an effort. It was blazing hot outside, so men in dress shorts with a button down would have been perfect. Too hot for a blazer. The food was beyond the hype. I had the Waygu by the ounce. BF had NY steak. Caesar's salad tossed tableside, loaded baked potato and Mac 'n cheese. Birthday dessert of chocolate upon chocolate was a chocoholics nirvana. I had a well poured Aperol Spritz. Chef's kiss perfect. Most important, our waiter was helpful and efficient. Food came quickly on a busy Saturday night. Boa Manhattan Beach really stood out! Thank you!
