Best Steakhouses in Bon Air

Another great experience at Flemings. They made our anniversary very memorable.

Cool vibe and lively atmosphere! Our server Chloe was fabulous. Beverages were great - champagne, vieux carre, manhattan. Food was fantastic - Buffalo octopus, steak tartare, spicy shells, filet mignon and onion rings. Steak was cooked perfectly. The real standouts were the spicy shells and onion rings!

Firebirds has been our "go-to" for over a decade, but in recent years we had begun to question whether or not they were still "trying". The new Granite Grill started looking very good, but they are a little inconsistent. So, we went back to Firebirds for our wedding anniversary and it was all it had been ten years ago. I believe Ophelia was the hostess and was very welcoming as she directed us to our table. (The gentleman at the reservation desk rushed around to hold the door for my wife when we were leaving) Our server, Michelle, said she was a bit new, but that was hard to believe. She was fun and helpful and just a delight to share our special evening with. She even brought us a great little desert platter, gratis!! My parmesan mashed taters and Baja Shrimp Pasta were great. My wife liked her steak (rib eye), but felt it was lacking a little in flavor. She just wants a good steak, no garnishes or sauces. Just steak. She loved her tater tots and Cosmopolitan. All in all, a very positive experience.
