After decades of dining at everything from Michelin 3-stars across Europe to top restaurants in New York such as Daniel, Jean-Georges, Le Bernardin, and Per Se (all of which were superb) this was just an amazing experience--almost certainly the best meal that I've ever had. I rarely write reviews, but OMG this was incredible. The sake luxury flight, wagyu tasting, short rib fried rice, tuna tartare, and crispy tokyo gyoza were all 11 out of 10--no, 20 out of 10--but the hamachi crudo was a 30 out of 10--a flavor more intense than a fusion reactor. Souffle, mochi donuts, strawberry parfait, and ambience, were all, well, parfait. Finally, Leia, our server, and Mike, the sake sommelier, were super sociable, and as knowledgeable as a London Taxi driver in their respective specialties. If it hadn't been for splurging on the wagyu tasting and the sake bill, the prices were ultra-reasonable, so the most amazing meal ever actually is also an incredible value.
