Best Sushi Restaurants in Hanson Park

Went here before Sumo and Sushi. Found street parking easily. Sushi was delicious. They accommodated an extra person on our reservation easily. It is close quarters inside the restaurant but it never felt overwhelming. Excellent food and drinks. Definitely recommend.

Chef Michael made the 'Best' Omakase experience worth every penny with his expertise and not only treated each dish like a work of art but graciously answered all of our questions about the fish and accommodated our gluten and dairy allergies. The dry aging process made each piece of fish buttery and rich in flavor and introduced us to fish we've never tried before which got us out of the monotony of our generic sushi orders. Safe to say we found our new favorite sushi spot and we will be back to enjoy the relaxing ambiance, incredible food and drinks very soon.

Excellent meal for 3: seaweed salad and gyoza starters; Omakase nigiri sushi, hamachi/sake/unagi nigiri sushi, poke tower, tuna tartare, green beans, and Adobo fried rice entrees; complementary mochi/sweet potato ice cream dessert for a birthday celebration; great service from Franco; comfortable booth; quiet and pleasant ambiance.

We did the special Chef's Omakase. It was fantastic. It's pricey, but worth every penny. The service was excellent and it was a great dining experience.

The nigiri and handrolls at Omakase Box are excellent, and the servers are attentive without being intrusive. I noticed that a number of diners were Japanese, always a good sign. We will be back!
