Best Tapas Restaurants in Poncey-Highland

I’ve never had bad food or a bad drink from this place. The food is all so amazing and fresh. The Spanish (spin) motif is cool and soothing. They make one of the most refreshing mojitos I this city, and I’ve tried them from many places. I severely recommend this place. Always beautiful women, good service and great food.

We had such a wonderful dinner at Cooks & Soldiers. The ambiance was perfect—warm, inviting, and ideal for a special evening. Daneesha was the best server—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made our evening feel special. We started with the matrimonio, fried artichokes, and chistorras, and loved every single one. For dinner, we had the branzino with a side of artichokes, which was absolutely delicious. Of course, we had to end with dessert. The Basque cheesecake was incredible, and we also tried the date cake, which was amazing too. Such a great meal from start to finish, and Daneesha really made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

We sat outside and while there is quite a bit of foot traffic and noise, it was nothing that you couldn’t talk over. Food was fantastic and service was outstanding. They accomodated us to sit where we sat on our first date, and when we mentioned we are now getting married, they took our picture for us. Great experience and will be coming back.

Came in for the first time during happy hour and enjoyed my time through dinner. Would have liked more options on the happy hour menu. Started with house blend of red wine and order dinner options. Food was tasty but some dishes came out a bit cold. Great portions sizes for tapas. We had Jordan and Sydney as our servers and they were quick and welcoming and made sure we were happy our entire stay. 5 stars to them!

Buena Vida Tapas an excellent choice my go to quite often music chilling the vibe, the beltline the whole nine put this on your to-do list!
