Best Tapas Restaurants in Herstmonceux

We eat at Wahacas regularly. Yesterday evening, we had a family meal there which was (as usual) superb. The service was efficient without being intrusive, the dishes were beautifully designed and perfectly cooked, the ambience of the restaurant was calm with a nice buzz frm our fellow diners. Thank you to the whole Wahacas team for another great family evening.

Staff were superb, helpful & attentive but not hovering. The food was fabulous. Menu was well balanced between meat & vegetarian options. The spicing/ flavours were finger licking good, but resisted temptation & used the finger bowl which was thoughtfully provided. The corn ribs were melt in the mouth, & my dining companion said the mutton curry was one of the best they'd ever had. Highly recommend & I can't wait to go back.

Amazing restaurant. Great location in the Lanes area, friendly, professional welcome. Beautiful decor inside, traditional yet modern at the same time. Food was exceptional, great selection of tapas, meat, vegetarian, hot and cold options. Specials included chicken and pork cheek. Deserts were so good we had one each and an extra between us. Recommend the cheesecake and churros. Didn’t feel hurried, had plenty of time to enjoy a family meal. Service was really good, they went out of their way to accommodate us. A chilled out, relaxed atmosphere, would definitely recommend.
