I had a really enjoyable experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant itself had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place for both a casual meal and a special occasion.
My wife is coeliac so this was the perfect restaurant for us, it was her birthday and our first time out since the baby, so the experience was really worth while. The food was incredibly tasty and our server was amazing. We did end up eating too much and had to take our desserts home. We have already decided we will be back soon, highly recommend.
Tried Shiro’s Saturday Unlimited Sushi menu and really enjoyed the experience. I sat at the sushi counter and ordered two rounds of the sushi platter — good variety and nicely presented, though the sushi itself was fairly standard. The salmon with rice was tasty, but the rice portion was a little generous after all the sushi! Overall, good value, nice atmosphere and a very enjoyable lunch.
Excellent dinner as usual, we always visit at least one Koya at least once when we are in London and it never disappoints. Even when they don't have my favourite (Saba) I find something else I love and will have again (Sakana).
We had a pre - theatre (at the Barbican) meal here as so close to the venue and it was very good. I really enjoyed my 10 nigiri pieces. The fish tasted very fresh. My husband who had the pre-theatre set menu thought the tempera was fresh albeit a bit bland.
We would definitely come back here if were going to another concert at the Barbican.
