Very friendly and attentive service from waitresses serving us, great cocktails and food. Can't go wrong at MAEW MAEW which is an institution in Terrigal. Will be back again soon to try all the other yummy things on the menu.

We dined at Chat Thai Circular Quay for lunch before a show at the Opera House. We chose the $55 banquet for 5 people. We had heaps of food (couldn’t eat it all) & it was delicious. We particularly loved the satay chicken skewers, the Green Thai chicken, & the prawn dish (on egg noodles). The absolute highlight was the coconut ice cream with black sticky rice for dessert - we loved it! Was a great venue too very close to Circular Quay public transport & a comfortable walk to the Opera House. Staff were friendly and the service was prompt. Would definitely return.

★★★★★ Best Asian fusion I’ve had in years! I honestly haven’t enjoyed Asian fusion this much since the days of Jimmy Liks and Diana in Potts Point. And that’s saying something! The food at Soi Fire is just fabulous. The kingfish is an absolute standout. One of those dishes where you take a mouthful, close your eyes and just savour it. An absolute explosion of flavour! The oysters were sensational, the betel leaves incredible and the wagyu beef skewers ridiculously good. I’d definitely recommend choosing one of the banquets. It’s such a treat to sit back, forget about making decisions for once and just enjoy whatever delicious dish comes out next. And the service! Quite simply some of the best I’ve experienced in a very long time. Tony, the owner, and Justin, the manager, are just wonderful. So welcoming, attentive and genuinely lovely. You really feel looked after. I don’t often rave about restaurants like this, but Soi Fire deserves it. What a fantastic find. Already looking forward to going back!
