Delicious food and gracious, old-world charm. The thoughtful dishes and pacing reminded me of meals I had as a kid at Congressional Country Club, where professional attention to detail and food quality were both equally important. For my meal, the lobster bisque, house salad, beef tenderloin and of course the desserts were all superb, with every item/sauce component having a balanced purpose. Our waiter Freddy was fantastic, and the staff made sure to give me a house-made scoop of ice cream and merengues for my belated birthday. Will definitely consider it a go-to for future special events, particularly for luncheon, as the Prix Fixe menu isn’t a cheaper afterthought, but its own bargain with a nice selection.
