Fantastic food, we enjoyed the surprising twists on well-known dishes---the sorbet on the papdi chaat, the beetroot in paavbhaji, the pineapple in the chaat, the cream filling in the poached pear dessert. The service was homely. It was a little too hot indoors, as it is summer, we could manage the heat as it was not crowded, but on a busy weekend, it could do well with some fans. Overall very happy experience. We had a little birthday treat for our friend and the the little cupcake staff brought for her birthday song was also delicious! We will definitely come here again!

A birthday lunch gift at The Greyhound from me to a good friend, and such a delight, from the milk bread and butter and tomato choux at the beginning, to the miniature gooseberry meringue tart and the extraordinary miso caramels before the dessert. Surprising and generous little extras to the main event, in a peacefully relaxed dining room, and each course was beautifully plated, little seasonal jewels of flavour and texture...utterly delicious and unforgettable. We also had a chance to speak to the chef, George, who is so passionate about the food he cooks, as are all the staff, which creates a wonderful friendly vibe. Planning our next visit already!
