Best Wine Bars in Historic District - South

Had an outstanding meal at River House this past weekend. We wanted a traditional Savannah experience that was nice but not too fancy and we nailed it picking this place. Lots of classic southern dishes along with fresh seafood and one of the most amazing desserts I’ve had this year in the chocolate hazelnut bread pudding. Service was great and the restaurant was not noisy despite being mostly full. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful experience, food was delicious and fresh, dining area was clean and quiet. Our server Rayne was phenomenal. Very kind, friendly and attentive.

Best restaurant on Hilton Head! Food was fabulous and our waitress Michelle was attentive and had great recommendations. The espresso martini was fantastic!

Spectacular dining experience... We did the Chef's Tasting Menu and it was incredible. Each course was a special treat, and our server Emma described everything perfectly. THEN...when the entree came to the table, we were blown away. The entree portion (we had the steak) was huge. We were expecting a couple of bites of steak, but it was a full portion WITH sides (mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy and broccolini). The dessert selection was just amazing as well. 100% would return 200% would ask for Emma to be our server Excellent value for a Chef's Tasting Menu meal experience

Our first time at ELA’S. Our martinis were perfect, the wait staff was friendly, and the food was awesome. Worth the $. Would come again!
