Best Wine Bars in Ramsbottom

It was my birthday and I chose the Hawksmoor to celebrate. My Husband and I took our own bottle of fizz for a corkage of £5 which was a great idea. It’s a Monday offer. We chose the three courses for £30. The starters were huge, and really enjoyable. My Husband said the potted beef was absolutely lovely. We both chose the rump steak and beef dripping chips for our main , my steak was really grisly (which spoilt it a little) but my Husbands was perfect. It was cooked to perfection. We chose the sticky toffee dessert which again was lovely. They even put a candle in my dessert for my birthday, and decorated the plate with a chocolate Happy Birthday which was a nice surprise. The service was excellent and we were topped up with fizz and water regularly. We both really had a lovely afternoon and loved the dining area and the originality and decor of the restaurant. We said we would return and we would recommend the Hawksmoor for a celebration or just a treat.

The staff were very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable and really went the extra mile. Wine selection was superb and the range of small dishes to complement the wines was really varied (all were delicious). Will be back next time I’m in town for sure.

The Vinehop is a great place in Poynton, whatever the time of the day!! Great Food, Great Staff,something for everybody.

We had a fabulous night in Wood & Company. The cocktails were excellent and the service was superb. The waitress waa extremely knowledgable especially when a couple of our party were unsure what to choose. She gave them the perfect suggestions using their favourite spirit. It is definately one of our favourite places to go for drinks in Manchester.
