Staff were very attentive and polite. Good choice of wines, if not an expensive. Food choices were mostly good. The inside of the restaurant had a relaxed vibe.

This place is an absolute GEM. The name is misleading as it suggests it’s an expensive champagne bar. But it is a lovely reasonably priced neighbourhood bistro with a huge selection of fantastic wines and delicious food. Always a friendly welcome too. Highly recommend.

We were given a voucher for a cheese board and carafe of wine. The board was excellent, good choices of cheese with tasty accompaniments. We opted for the rose wine as it was lunchtime. The team were lovely, engaging and knowledgeable about their cheese and wines. We were not hurried and ending up staying for the afternoon, 2 further carafes and a couple of glasses of dessert wine finished us off! What a fabulous afternoon, great venue, really welcoming team providing us and all guests with the perfect level of engagement, warmth and friendless. We'll definitely be back.Thank you Funky Cellar.
