The place is a great little cheap and cheerful spot where the food arrives promptly, very important when going to see a performance. The broccolini was especially magnificent.

A wonderful gem in the city, being a Sunday night it was mostly empty but for some reason they set all the diners next to each other rather than spacing people through out the restaurant. Otherwise it was great. Will be back.

What an experience! The food was next level. Traditional flavours done to fine dining. Service was exceptional. The theatrics of doing a pineapple rum shot from the caramelised bone was truly memorable! I seriously couldn’t pick a favourite dish. Already planning to return so I can try more dishes. Our first time at Kirbie. We will be back. Wonderful engaging, attentive staff. The head chef was introduced personally and dropped by the table a number of times. Cheers, Nick! It was a pleasure also to meet Kirbie. The food was outstanding. Oysters, kingfish delicious. Beef tartare and the garlic fougass(with Kirbie butter) a highlight. We also shared the asparagus and glazed Otway pork. First class. We were assisted with wine choice, that was perfect. Just a really impressive experience and so glad we’ve found this gem.
