What an awesome find! A friend had been there twice and has been singing its praises, so we tried it last night. So glad we did! Food was amazing! Started with their roasted cauliflower and a walnut pesto type pita spread (Mumumus?). (Can’t remember the name and couldn’t find it online). Both were delicious. For dinner, we had the braised lamb shoulder, lamb kabob, chicken kabob with the grilled veggies and rice. Everything was wonderful. The lamb was cooked to perfection!… tender and had the best flavor. Our server, Avia(?) took wonderful care of us. They don’t have their liquor license yet, so they are BYOB. Weather was awful last night, so few people were out. We were the only people dining in, but thee was a constant flow of food delivery drivers. Wish we lived closer to be able to get deliveries, but it’s worth the drive for us to be back often!!
This is one of our family’s favorite places. Buddy has been there for years and is our favorite waiter. The Mezza appetizer is very good with lots of variety and warm, just out of the oven, pita bread. They are known for their roasted chicken, which has a lemon sauce that is addictive! Their baklava and Greek coffee are a wonderful ending to a delicious dinner. The old house is cozy and comfortable and a lovely setting for this family owned restaurant.
