Not what I expected as the food quality was not there. My pasta meal was undercooked.
I will not return.
Food was good. The owner came over and serenaded us. The service was pleasant as was everything and everyone. A place to have an enjoyable evening.
D'Angelos never disappoints . Food & service is always good in a comfortable/relaxing setting .
The atmosphere was very relaxed, the food was absolutely delicious and I would definitely revisit and try some of the other entrée.
Great food and excellent ambience!
Very good food and atmosphere. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and service was nice where it wasn’t too slow and where we didn’t feel rushed. The end of the meal was great as we were given a free piece of tiramisu plus the owner serenaded us with his guitar. Very memorable. Thanks
Food was good! Waiter was funny! Will definitely visit again!!
Great food, great service, everyone was vert kind and helpful.
I love salmon so that’s what I ordered and I was not disappointed. The salmon with shrimp and asparagus was cooked to perfection. I will be going back!!
Came for Restaurant Week: while the service was great, the food was average. I believe my expectations were too high for this spot so I was disappointed.
Servers are great but the manager or owner is rude! Didn’t want to exchange a meal that smelt like the meat was spoiled and had no sauce in the pasta! Food has no flavor and the start salad looks gross! Would not recommend this restaurant keep heading further into center where there is a wide variety of great options and even similar but better food!
Pretty sure it was 21$ for only 4 cheese ravioli. That’s kind of a rip off. Wouldn’t return
Consistently great food and service
Excellent! We shall return. Luis was a wonderful server and we felt welcomed!
Food was delicious. Staff was spot on and on top of things. Had a great time. We will be back! Thank you!!!
We went there for Mother’s Day lunch! It was so nice and the whole experience was the best! They were so accommodating even when we were running late for our reservation! We will definitely be going back and so would highly recommend!
Everyone we encountered was friendly and accommodating. The meal was delicious, portions were generous. Will definitely return.
We had an absolutely perfect evening here. Wonderful staff and delicious food!
Great food and friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. I would recommend.
Amazing food, great service!
Most of our food was very good. Service was just ok - servers seemed overextended. What appeared to be the owner was out talking to guests which was nice.
Outstanding food and service. The very gracious proprietor out did himself on my Wife’s Birthday when he came out with his guitar and beautiful voice to serenade my Wife in celebration of her Birthday with some songs. She was over joyed and a Birthday memory we’ll never forget.
We had an amazing time at D’angelos! Friendly staff, delicious food and overall wonderful Italian restaurant. We’ll certainly be back!
Excellent customer service and delicious food! Can't wait to go back!
I went with a friend and we shared the sirloin for 2.
I now understand why the waiter was heavily suggesting we had a topping to our steak. Though it was cooked correctly, it just had zero flavor. I don’t think it was even salted. When we made mention to the waiter he said that many people get the toppings. But I don’t think I should have to cover my steak to give it flavor.
We had the sweet and hot peppers, and the sweet and hot sausage as well. Those were both good, nothing special just bell pepper and long hots cooked in oil but we enjoyed them.
Overall the steak was so disappointing that we didn’t even take the remaining portions with us.
The waiter apologized and remove the cost of one of the appetizers from our bill. But no manager ever came to check in us after.
Food is great and similar in price when compared to others around town, although I felt the wine was a little expensive given the quality. A lot of food in your plate! Amazing spaghetti and meatballs, although I think little Nonnas is better. Will definitely visit again!
The food was amazing! DeAngelos salad was great and pastas and seafood were delicious. Services was very good.
Daughters birthday. Guitar player played happy birthday. It was memorable
D'Angelo's never disappoints! The servers are so kind and attentive and the food is always outstanding! I can't wait to go back!
We always love it ... we will be back soon !!!
Our first time back at D'Angelo's since the start of the pandemic, and so glad to get back there. The service was excellent and they indulged us with the grilled langostino's which were not on the limited menu. We started with the blue cheese salad and mussels marinara and both were excellent. For mains we had the grilled langostino's and linguine with mushrooms and both were up to the usual top notch standards. For great Italian food in a family owned restaurant, you just cannot beat D'Angelo's.
It was a very enjoyable night with great food and drink.
A long term go-to it was a treat to return to this neighborhood favorite after a long, cold covid dominant winter. I went knowing pretty much what I wanted to eat - hoping my friend would embrace my idea of sharing noteworthy favorites as we have before. He was on board.
First we had the clams casino - among my favorite in the city, the D’Angelos salad (also known as Milan salad from Jimmy’s Milan days, where Tony D’Angelo was chef), the ziti with asparagus, and Tony’s veal.
Everything was delicious and it was such a treat to dine at D’Angelos again after a long winter!
Best Italian food, drink and service in the city. Owners are terrific and always engaging with the guest. Makes you feel at home !
I love this restaurant! My favorite! Fantastic all around!
Delicious and fresh food!
Great food. Very impressed with Phillies Italian food, and this is a lot to say coming from a Brooklyn Italian Heritage. How ever they didnt have their bread mastered. Three things you cant beat from NY, Pizza, bagels and Italian Bread. I would highly recommend this place the service is great and the food even better. Planing on a return trip soon.
Was nice to try a new restaurant . I had the shrimp scampi really didn’t have much of a taste . Priced a little high for the amount you get . $55 for a veal chop & was was over priced .
We love the restaurant, Sal, Tony and Gus--the food is top notch and always made with quality ingredients. They have a great wine list as well--don't miss a chance to have a nice dinner at DeAngelos--you will not be disappointed.
The food, service, and ambiance was outstanding. Definitely making this a regular date night place!
