    We enjoyed a lovely lunch on a very smoky Philadelphia day. Our server was amazing! It made the experience extra special. The food is always delicious especially the Lobster bisque. We can’t wait to return.

    This restaurant was absolutely fabulous, from the dinner rolls (fantastic) to the oysters, fresh fish and the carrot cake was to die for. Overall experience made special by Shannon, a very sweet young lady and provided super service.

    The seafood was fresh and the cocktails were good. However I do believe that the portion of the Mixed Grill entree was small for the $49. Also the food did not have much flavor.

    When I asked questions about the fresh fish selection, our server, Luke, was able to give me good information and a recommendation that lead to a tasty meal experience. The Copper River Salmon was very delicious; I would definitely order it again.

    I met a friend and had appetizers at the bar... Aaron gave us great service! Then I met my son Jesse for dinner ...served by Michelle ... who was very helpful in her suggestions... great, attentive service... And she brought us a nice piece of surprise birthday carrot cake with candles for my son... EXCELLENT place... Food was fantastic!

    Great food and outstanding service. We had calamari and mussels in white sauce for appetizers and Lobster Cobb Salad and Crab Cakes for dinner. I come here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed.

    My steak was wonderful but my crab cake was tasteless. Service at the bar was great but the table server was adequate at best. They did comp us a dessert for our anniversary, which was nice, and very tasty. It’s hard to rate it except to say the pluses were very good but there are some negatives.

    The whole experience at the restaurant was very enjoyable. The hostess was very accommodating when it came to seating prefer preferences, and the booth I selected was beyond comfortable. The seafood was outstanding from the Calamri appetizer, to the main course of seasoned Ahi Tuna. Even the server, Darian, was very helpful with beer selection and recommending Ahi Tuna dinner.

    Had not been to Devon seafood for a couple of years so my return was a pleasant surprise to find out that the food and the service have not changed from what I remember.  I was happy that I made the choice to return to this venue. The food is excellent and the service is top notch.

    I took my boss to lunch to celebrate his birthday. I had not been back to Devon since before the beginning of COVID and was so pleased to see that the restaurant and the food was as good as ever!! Not surprisingly, the service was great and we both enjoyed our lunch tremendously.

    Empty tables yet had trouble getting a reservation. Hostess could not find the reservation- had to show e/mail. Manager said short off staff. Soup was cold. Eliminated from bill by waiter. Scallops entree was lukewarm. Noise level prevented hearing one another even though place half full. Waiter did his very best under sub optimal conditions. Not a good Mothers Day experience.

    The waiter got our order wrong, the soup was cold, never brought our drinks, never brought our bread basket, and never checked on our table. We had to request the manager in order to help us. Food was decent but nothing great. Overpriced and horrible wait staff. Dirty booths. Will not be dining here again and will spread the word.

    We went for Mother’s Day. The food was good from top to bottom. Service was excellent. Drinks are very well done. Who came out reasonably quickly. Server was very available.

    Establishment was poorly kept. We are used to the pristine and swanky environment at the Devon in Hershey, Pa. This Philly location doesn’t compare: your feet literally stick to the floors, the bathrooms were disgusting. I was actually quite nervous to get my food because if where the public was filthy the. The kitchen was undoubtedly the same.

    My wife and I had heard great things about Devon Seafood prior to making plans for an anniversary dinner there so we were excited to give it a try. The restaurant was not at capacity when we were seated, but our table appeared to be as far away from the main entrance as possible. We were at least given a table with a happy anniversary card on it though, but it just went downhill from there. After being seated, we waited at least 20 minutes for our server to come over to even bring water, but he didn't arrive with any water, just to say happy anniversary and that he'd be back shortly. 10 minutes after that he arrived with water and said he'd be back to take our orders. Feeling like we might not see him often we placed drink orders and an appetizer, and sure enough we didn't see him until those were brought out. Almost an hour into dinner we finally flagged down another server to take our dinner orders. The food and drinks were decent, so no complaints there, but being borderline ignored by the waitstaff when we booked a dinner for a special occasion was awful. Even though they did bring us a dessert on the house, we were still forced to wait for the waiter to return with the check and then to process payment. Luckily the manager, I believe, came over to help us out with that. Overall, for the cost of this dinner and experience we had, we will not be returning in the future.

    Our server was very pleasant and attentive. Our dinners were delicious. I had trout, my husband had halibut, the other couple had Cobb lobster salad and grouper. The service was prompt. We had plenty of time before the orchestra for a leisurely dinner. The location on Rittenhouse Square is very central to many evening activities.
