This was our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed at the Golden Plough Inn, and Earl's was directly across the street, so this was a logical choice. We were not disappointed.
They had a large selection of Single Malt Scotches to go with two varieties of shellfish as an appetizer. For entrees, my wife had the short ribs (very good), and I had the shrimp and grits (excellent). We shared a desert of fried doughnuts, with three kinds of dipping sauce. The prices were what one might expect, given this area of Bucks County, PA.
The service was excellent, and the restaurant does offer a Veterans discount.

Valentines Day

We had lunch at Earl's. Table was ready at the time of the reservation. The restaurant was nicely decorated. It was a nice ambience. The service was outstanding. We were not rushed. The food was very good. Would definitely recommended for a nice lunch.

The food was excellent. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the dessert I ordered was slightly undercooked. The waiter was terrific, the ambience was beautiful, not too dark/light. Great restaurant!

Every time we stay in New Hope we make it a point to make reservations at Earl’s. The place never disappoints and is always on point.

Appetizers were great and so was service/ambiance but my steak was over cooked.

First time at Earl's celebrating my husband's birthday and the food was amazing! I had the Pear Tree drink which was so delicious, the calamari appetizer was light and crispy so good, my filet and my husband's NY strip was so delicious!! The cheesecake and carrots cake were also amazing! Loved the decor and our waitress, Brooke was so sweet, attentive and made our dining experience enjoyable!! Will go back next time we visit up that way for sure!

I stumbled upon this restaurant online while looking for available reservations for my girlfriend’s birthday dinner. It surpassed my expectations. The entire experience was pleasant; from the host seating us 10 mins earlier than our reservation time, to our server Rachel’s knowledge of the menu, her suggestions and kindness, to the ambiance and a candle in our dessert. Simple things matter, and the combination of these things plus a great menu and delicious food made it a night to remember. Thank you!

The food and service were amazing at Earls new American. It was our first time there and we will be back for certain .

The food was delicious but I thought the price point was high. I had scallops and one of them had a piece of shell or grit in it.
I’m moving to the area from New York and am pleased to find a quality restaurant nearby that is as good as most I have experienced.

Service was excellent and the food was overall very good. The the oysters were fresh. I had the scallops which were good although very small and the bacon pieces in the sauce were hard, and some of the mushrooms chewy. My husband had the shirt rib which was perfect although should have come with a vegetable. The beet salad was delicious.

Food was excellent. We shared lobster dumplings and a beet salad for a first course. My husband ordered scallops and I ordered the shrimp and grits....all very good. I ordered a Tom Collins and it was sour with very little gin and the server kindly brought me sugar to add to it. When I decided to give this a second try, I asked the server to convey some suggestions on how to make a proper Tom Collins and the drink came back exactly like the first one. I could not drink it, and the server took it back. Service was very attentive, and not rushed but as it was mid January there were no crowds. Would go there again.

The small room section off for us was perfect for a safe covid experience for a family of Six. The wait staff was cordial and very friendly. That was lovely. And every dish that came out was terrific. The waitress was always around for refilling cocktails. It was a lovely evening!

Absolutely loved Earl's. Had never heard of it before. Live 45 minutes away and will definitely go back.

It was a very nice place and the food was very good but the waitress was not as attentive as I would have liked. I didn't get desert because she didn't come back to the table in a timely manner.

Made reservations for the opening evening after COVID-19 restaurant restrictions. Enjoyed a excellent dinner along with appetizers. Waiter was very courteous and attentive but did forget an additional cocktail sauce. We were seated in the middle which had some minor vibrations in the floor most likely from the kitchen vent. Always enjoy visiting Peddlers Village.

The table was for ten and was right against the garden with a tripping hazard or garden blocks right behind chair legs. There were no other diners except one table of a few. We had a couple of heaters on one side. People who were walking were just showing up to warm themselves on the heaters. I had sympathy, but not socially distanced. Whe I asked for a dessert menu, the waitress said that we had three minutes and. I time for dessert. There were no other tables. I was appalled! We had spent about $1000.00 on this meal.
