Hello! We booked a table of four for my 45th birthday, on the 9th of Sep (Saturday night). We have been to El Tucan 4 times and our experience this time did not compare. We chose El Tucan again for my big birthday celebration, but was highly disappointed with the service. First, we were seated behind the DJ and the view was not the best... we could only see the back of the performs and did not feel part of the main floor ambience. We started ordering our food and drinks and went with the highest ticket items... Big sushi platter to start and proceeded with the Wagyu Beef Tomahawk and Chilean Sea Bass for main course. We ended spending close to $2k for one night and expected to be treated with respect and better attention. Midway through our night, we were asked to move tables not once, but twice in order to accommodate a big party that night. I couldn't even get to enjoy my birthday cake and felt like I kept getting pushed around like a second class citizen. Lastly, I do feel that even though we were getting very expensive food items, our bill was overstated and we were overcharged. I did expect to not be charged at the very minimum for a round of drinks or the cake, to make up for the hassle of moving around, but we were charged for everything and more. I do not feel that the money spend here matches with the the quality received and I will not recommend El Tucan any more.

I was told that there are mini shows every 20min. We were at the restaurant on a Friday night 10:30pm-1:00am, and there was only one show when we first go there. The restaurant was empty at 12:45! Food was good, but for the value, it should have been more entertaining. Not much of a party atmosphere… was quite disappointed.

We had a great experience for our first time. And we celebrated our friends birthday! We shared plates and all the food was amazing. Have nothing bad to say besides the fact there is a 2hr max at table unless you book main dinning.

You’re basically paying for music, which was great btw. But Food was soooooo tiny ,not good and extremely expensive . Food came out so late around mid night it was ridiculous. The dancers came out once , dipped and never saw them again. Never again will I go back

We had to wait for our table at the bar. I stood there at the bar over 20 minutes and the bartender never asked for my order. I waved at the male bartender on the other side and he had to tell his co part to take care of us. That alone aggravate me. Also, the drinks she made were not great. We ordered the truffle Mac and cheese and the ribs. The ribs were actually really good. Unfortunately, the skirt steak was not good at all which was disappointing because I absolutely love skirt steak. It came out cold, un seasoned, overcooked. The drinks we ordered at our table took forever to get to us and at one point I had completely forgotten we had even ordered them to begin with. We got the miso cookie which was very good and that I would recommend getting (if you do end up going).The service could DEFINITELY use some improvement- At the bar and at the tables. It seemed everyone was too busy partying and bringing bottles then getting service done. The overall value in good and service-for me- just was not worth it As a local, I don’t see myself going again. And would only recommend for tourists as it kind of posses that kind of a sloppy atmosphere. It seems every place in Miami that includes service charge, the quality of service/bartending goes down. You always have to try and track your server down and wait way too long for drinks.

Server was amazing, food came quick. But why was there an automatic “donation” to my on my receipt? A donation is something I give willingly, not something you take from me without discussing it. Do better. The donation wasn’t even for a charity or a great cause.

Our server obviously did not want to serve us to the point he made us leave the table and said we can dine at the bar if we want. He probably assumed we weren't going to spend enough and figured we weren't worth his time. Really turned us off on the whole experience so we left. The drinks weren't that great either.

I made dinner reservations for my girlfriend’s birthday this evening. Her parents and brother came from Texas to celebrate with us. Upon entrance the greeter in the front didn’t let my gf’s brother in because he was 16 years. According to him he wasn’t age appropriate. Before making my reservation I read the restaurant’s rules and dress code policy and it stated that guest under the age of 21 where not permitted after 10pm. Our reservation was at 7:45pm. He denied us access so we had to leave somewhere else. Fortunately we found something nearby and went somewhere else instead. I am really disappointed with their service and the way we where treated. They should really update their website and treat customers with respect.

Went to El Tucan for our anniversary dinner and what a phenomenal experience! The ambiance and decor was unreal - the service was top notch and they made you feel super important and special. For an appetizer we had the crab croquets they were delicious! Almost like a spring roll. Main Course we had the duck / rib eye and creamed spinach. The duck and rib eye were excellent. The rib eye comes with 3 diff sauces. The creamed spinach was a little too salty for us, wouldn’t order that again. For dessert we had the French toast which is prepared table side and is incredible! We also ordered the beignet donuts that were so delicious and soft. Would definitely come back we enjoyed our time the vibes are great and the staff was top tier! Thanks!

Food nasty only thing good was the calamari and lamb chops for the price and service it was NOT worth it. Our waiter never checked on us to see if we liked the food or the experience but was partying with the couple that sat right next to us. It kinda felt like we were being discriminated a bit. Save your coins for a different restaurant

The place looks nice. Good ambience. Food was good. Service was great. HOWEVER….the first disappointing thing was that when you make the reservation online though open table, the 1st and 2nd seating is not explicitly explained. When you reserve dinner before 9pm it means you are allowed to be sitting at the table only for 2 hrs. After that, they ask you to leave the table and you can stay and enjoy the rest of the night but standing by the bar, which by that time was already packed. The cover price at $200 per person for the so called 2nd sitting, its a lot of money and in my opinion not worth it . I cannot comment about the show since we ended up leaving. I wont recommend this place to anybody neither will I be going again.

I went for my bday celebration and I do notttt regret it! I had a great seat in the corner booth where I could see the stage perfectly and the shows were energetic and the Kobe sushi roll was to die for! I am definitely glad I went here and I can’t wait to go back! A bit pricey but so worth it for the experience.

They only had the same performers all night. They used to have a few different types of performers but I guess they stopped including the variety of talent.
