Had the Ceviche which was delicious, and the barbacoa plate (lamb and beef) is a must order!

Will try the Wagyu sirlone (grade 7 from Australia) next time - was highly recommended.

I wish there was a category to rate the cocktails and the food separately. The cocktails were top notch. Loved the way they used mezcal to make creative riffs on classic cocktails.

The food unfortunately was pretty disappointing, and very expensive for the portion and quality. I mean quality in terms of taste and preparation; they may use top quality ingredients. For such a small menu I'd expect better execution. They have a salsa made with cashews and spices, it sounded interesting but ended up tasting like barbecue sauce. Their fish taco was reminiscent of a filet-o-fish: bland and covered with too much sauce. Their fundido was not melty or stringy, it was rigid and dense like clay; had to cut it with a knife. Our server was great. We'll go back for drinks but not food.

Really great restaurant with amazing food and beverages. It was busy that day, so it took us a while to get a server, but other than that, we had a great experience. If you enjoy mezcal, this is the place for you!

If you like corn flour tacos this is the spot for you. I personally prefer flour tortillas so I really didn’t like the tacos. It is a great place though.

The food is fantastic - slightly over prized for the portion sizes - but I would return for just the food (not a vegetarian but I loved the carrot tacos which says a lot!). This is trendy Mexican food so don't go looking for authenticity. The drinks were overall awful - 3/4 of us disliked all of our drinks, from their fancy cocktails to a simply two-ingredient mixed drink. The menu should also explicitly include the range of smokyness in their mezcals as our waiter could not tell us what they were and when she did, it was wrong. So, I would return and have the food with a glass of wine or beer - hopefully that can't be screwed up - and the food.

The food is high priced and richly flavored, but we noticed several items had a very bitter taste — food and drinks.
The drinks are incredibly expensive and the flavors in 2 of the 4 drinks we tried were both too sweet and bitter at the same time, which made them dissatisfying.
Service was good, very lively patio, nicely designed interior.

We went here for brunch, I really enjoyed the more unique brunch cocktail selection. We also had the prix fixe menu, all of our choices were excellent. It was great to sit outside and people watch. Would definitely recommend.

With the warm weather, I was looking for a restaurant to enjoy a meal outside. I knew Espita had outdoor seating but was pleasantly surprised to see what they did with it. The meal was incredible as always but will be back all summer to enjoy dining outside among the beautiful plants.

Terribly slow service (even borderline rude when the server got our orders wrong), the food was fine but you get very little for the amount that you pay. Will not return.

Had a wonderful dinner meeting with two business associates. Cocktails were outstanding and the Manager took us through a very informed selection of a carafe of Mezcal for the table. We began with pickles, roasted nuts, guacamole and still warm Oaxacan tortilla chips while we got the business out of the way. proceeded to enjoy fish and lamb tacos and then moved to the Mole Negro with Wagyu sirloin; Octopus and the lamb barbacoa. We finished with the chocolate tosta and the churros which was shared by the table, and a cold Mexican Larger. A wonderful meal and setting. Highly recommend.

Hoping we just hit an unfortunate first try during brunch hours. Food and drinks were great, server was not. Took nearly half an hour to get drinks and order an appetizer that was never recieved, or im assuming rung in. Thankfully, the server pulled out paper to actually write down our order for entrees. Those came out (via foodrunner) in a much more appropriate wait time, and were delicious! Table loved the chicken and masa waffles, and sweet potato mushroom tacos were also fantastic.

This was our 1st time here. The food is a little pricey for what you get except for that tacos and the octopus which are both amazing. Would recommend their version of an old fashion for drinks any day.

Great restaurant, however, I was disappointed that their relatively small--but very well curated--has become even smaller than last time I visited. The food was great, but I liked having a few more options to choose from.

It was amazing overall. Avocados tostadadas are out of the world. Really enjoyed our unlimited drinks. Server was very helpful and quick at getting some bottomless drinks as promised.

Overall I do think it was a little expensive considering there is no unlimited food. Around same price other places has unlimited food and drinks for brunch. But no regrets because we left satisfied. Will def come back

The food is great. The vibe is nice. Try the house mezcal if you are new to mezcal, otherwise they have an extensive selection. I try to eat vegan and they have a number of tasty options to accomodate plant based preferences.

Their mayahuel margarita should not be missed. Hit their happy hour for that.

My only wish is in the value side. It is quit easy to hit $200 for two once you are enjoying a few drinks.
